Me!

Alex Lucero is an aspiring sports journalist, and would be interested in the reporter/anchor, radio, or production spots for sports.

Alex is a graduate of Northern Arizona University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with an emphasis in broadcast.  He also has a minor in Electronic Media and Film.

Alex has been around different jobs.  He has worked with NAZ Today, KJACK Radio, the news and radio stations at NAU.  He also works with NAU TV Services working as a cameraman and dyno operator for sporting events for Fox Sports Arizona, and worked as a freelancer in sports production as a camera operator, bug box operator, and replay operator for companies such as PAC-12, COX, NBC Sports, and Fox Sports Arizona

Alex has also had a couple internships while in college.  He has been a intern with KVNA radio for the sports section of the station.  Duties included recordings that went on air, being an on-air talent at times, and being a board-op for high school sports.  His other internship was with ESPN Radio in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Alex learned how to produce a radio show, clipping interviews and learning how to board-op for a bigger radio station.

Through all of these oppurtunities, Alex has learned how to report, edit, shoot sporting events, and learned the business of radio.
